Eggs can also be collected when you reach a Ghost hole, which can be accessed through a secret route and is accompanied by a black flag instead of red. Lots of eggs are scattered on each game level and even if they are out of the way, you should strive to get them. Although, I would try to keep my flaps as little as possible in order to gain start points. Your golf balls can fly but they cannot swim!
